Next Wednesday's Net Nite will include a regular new section: OPEN SOURCE which will explore how this great new movement is changing all our business opportunities on the web.
Christof Wittig, a leading exponent of bringing its benefits into organizations, will be our first speaker on this theme. Topics ongoing may include: * db4objects itself (as an opensource success-story), * benefits of opensource in the comapny * "myth-busters" of opensource/opensource integration (focusing on areas such as IP, legal, control, quality, obligatons, etc which are often voiced as reasons why opensource is avoided), * survey of opensource licenses and how they can be utilized in companies...
We're also expecting to confirm soon a presentation about a high profile ecommerce site. And there will be the usual chances for members to show and discuss their current projects.
