Martin old Committee gets ”higher pitch”, doesn’t it

But it is crazy.

If I have seen such a guy playing trumpet like that, I would offer my little favor, saying "Aren't you playing trombone? No? Then, you need to pull that back, like 1 cm at the longest."

So, I've practiced with a conventional, something considered reasonable, length. Then, the straight tone coming out of my Martin gets more than 0.5 higher. The sound expected G becomes lower A.

As you know, you could manage +/- 0.5. But not more.

I've thought there must have been something wrong with me.

But now I'm confident. I've heard my master had the same problem with mine.

It is the right set up. 4cm or so. Looks joking.

Chris Botti plays Old Martin with a longer mouthpiece. One of my possible excuse.

I will get along with this guy, as it is, not considering it has to be fixed or educated.

If you see me, don't get me wrong, I'm playing trumpet :)

the question of balance

How mysterious instrument trumpet is! It's all about balance in order to get the sound you want. Bleathing, the direction, thickness, and density of the flow, ... Can't moduralize in a deterministic fashion since they are like organs that help for each other.

The clearer image of sound you get, the more sophisticated balances, the fewer possible combinations of organs, you have to achieve.
